Phase 1: Feasibility
We respect your time and your privacy. We do not ask for sensitive data until we mutually agree there is a viable path forward.
First Meeting: The Initial Context
A convenient short video meeting to understand your objectives. When booking, you will see How We Operate.
Feasibility Exploration: We gauge if our specialized strategies are viable for you via our four feasibility gates, and you decide if our approach aligns with your expectations.
Advisor Alignment: If you were introduced by a partner advisor (e.g., an Accountant or Wealth Advisor), we invite you to include them in this initial conversation. We integrate into your existing advisor team to work collaboratively for your benefit.
- Second Meeting: The Initial Answers
Contingent on Step A: We schedule this separate session to present answers to the specific questions raised in our first meeting.
The Case Study: We walk you through an anonymized case study relevant to your situation, showing you how our strategies perform — without requiring your personal financial details yet.
- If you already decided to proceed to Phase 2, we skip this step and move directly to personalized answers.
Phase 2: Engagement
If you like the results you see in Phase 1, we move to specifics. To transition from a “case study” to “your plan,” we need accurate data and a clear mandate.
The Engagement:
You e-sign our Client Service Disclosure. This is an extension of the principles you accepted in our How We Operate disclosure in Phase 1.
Anonymous Health Pre-Check:
Concerned about medical history? Before we design anything, we can run an anonymized preliminary inquiry with insurers. This estimates your insurability without risking a formal “decline” on your file.
Transparency & Compensation:
Compensation: Our design and implementation fees are covered by compensation paid by the insurer only if a policy is placed. This ensures 100% of your capital goes toward your policy premiums, with no additional consulting invoices from us.
Your Choice: Signing this agreement does not commit you to buying insurance. It simply authorizes us to design your options.
Phase 3: Design and Build
The Modeling:
We conduct actuarial and financial analyses to optimize our strategies for your specific needs.
Cross-Professional Verification:
The “Veto” Power: Before implementation, we can discuss the drafted strategies with your tax and legal advisors for their technical review.
We speak their language—CDA credits, RDTOH, NCPI—to ensure the insurance strategy integrates seamlessly with your financial plan and corporate structure (if applicable).
Presentation of Insurance Options:
We present scenarios modeled based on your capital commitment.
You review your Insurance Options, request revisions if desired, and select the path that best fits your objectives.
Phase 4: Implementation
The Application:
Once you select an option, we complete the e-applications together in a video meeting.
We monitor the underwriting process and keep you updated.
- The Offer:
- We inform you of the insurer’s decision and offer
- You decide if you want to accept the offer
The Placement:
We review the final policy contract to ensure it matches the design.
We finalize the implementation with a “Reason Why” letter that documents exactly why you chose this strategy and what it does for easy future reference.
Phase 5: Lasting Support
Insurance is a multi-decade asset. We remain your active partners after the policy is placed.
Client-Initiated Reviews:
We are available to review your coverage to ensure it keeps pace with changes in tax law and your life. We rely on you (or your primary advisor) to contact us when your situation changes so we can update your plan.
Claims Advocacy:
In the event of a claim, we are your first call. We provide guidance through the process with the insurer.
